Easy

Experience rural Japan’s winter countryside with a 2-night onsen stay in Sakae Village featuring snowmobile rides, snowcat adventures, optional ski resort access, and traditional Japanese meals surrounded by deep snow mountain scenery.

Escape the crowded tourist areas and experience the real winter countryside of Japan with this 2-night winter adventure in Sakae Village, Nagano. Surrounded by deep snow, quiet forests, and mountain landscapes, this experience combines outdoor winter activities with the relaxing atmosphere of a traditional Japanese onsen stay.

During the tour, guests can enjoy snowmobile riding, snowcat experiences, optional ski resort access, and natural hot spring baths while staying at Kitanotenman Onsen Gakumon no Yu, a traditional mountain onsen hotel located in one of the snowiest regions of Japan.

Unlike standard ski resort tours, this experience is designed to give guests flexibility and freedom during their stay. Guests may choose between spending a full day at the ski resort, joining snowmobile activities, relaxing in the countryside, or exploring snowy forest areas by snowcat.

This tour is suitable for both beginners and experienced winter travelers. Snowmobile activities include beginner-friendly instruction, while the snowcat experience allows guests to access remote snowy landscapes that are normally difficult to reach during winter.

The peaceful atmosphere of Sakae Village, combined with traditional Japanese meals and onsen culture, creates a unique winter experience far from the busy city environment.
