Details

Discover the hidden beauty of Nagano’s highlands on a leisurely 50cc scooter ride. This small-group adventure is perfect for those who want to explore at a relaxed pace while enjoying fresh mountain air, spectacular scenery, and authentic local experiences.

Your journey begins in Yudanaka, where we head to the Shiga Kogen Olympic area — the starting point of both routes. From here, you’ll ride through winding mountain roads, past lush forests, crystal-clear streams, and charming rural villages.

We offer two scenic route options:

  • Route 1: Travel to the Highest Point of Japan’s National Routes, where you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views and take memorable photos. Continue to Shibutage for a hearty local lunch, then ride the Skylator — a unique slope elevator offering stunning mountain vistas — before returning.
  • Route 2: Ride to the remote and unspoiled beauty of Akiyamago, a hidden gem known for its traditional architecture and tranquil setting. Enjoy a delicious lunch made with fresh local ingredients, then soak in a serene Rotenburo (open-air hot spring) surrounded by nature before your return.

Both routes are designed to allow ample time for sightseeing, rest stops, and photography, ensuring a comfortable and memorable day. Whether you choose breathtaking mountain peaks or a peaceful onsen village, this tour offers an unforgettable way to experience Nagano’s charm.
